Marvel VS Capcom 3 DLC
We’re all ready to download our 2 new characters to add to our Marvel VS Capcom 3 roster. But as I look back on my childhood gaming days, the $5 price tag on EACH character has me terrified of whats to come!
Now one of the greatest new features in our next gen consoles is the ability to download new content for games. Once greed caught on, this has become one of the worst features for our wallets. What started as a great way to keep your gaming experience fresh and new, has now become a great way for companies to sell half-assed products. Now lets take a look at the roster for Marvel VS Capcom 2..

Look at all those choices!! We had 56 playable characters to choose from. Now the gameplay itself is amazing. But the fact we have such a huge chunk of epic characters from the Marvel and Capcom universe made this game the hit it is to this day. When I heard a 3rd installment was going to be released, I was almost positive we were gonna be looking at a massive roster on our new 360/Ps3 copies. Oh snap!! Where the hell did my characters go? We just had 56 and now a sudden drop to 32? This was a total shock to me and huge let down when I purchased this game at launch. I knew we were in for a Street Fighter marketing mindfuck where 10 versions of the game were gonna be released for us to purchase. Instead I was introduced to the ridiculous price of $5 dollars per character when the 2 new DLC characters were released. We already spent just about $1.80 on 32 characters when we bought the initial package. Now we’re slowing the entire process of fun in a game like Marvel VS Capcom 3 and also CHARGING an EXTRA $5 PER character. GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY FACE CAPCOM. Drop some feedback below and let me know what you think of this setup for a fighting game. I’d rather wait another year for the game if it means a complete package. But I highly doubt timing is the reason for this ridiculously shady foundation for future DLC opportunities.
MVC 3 was the biggest terd i have ever wasted my money on. First they change the controls (from traditional Capcom fighting style) and now they want me to pay for characters…?? Wrog answer!! Eat a dick Capcom!! U wont be getting another dime from me!
